Comprehensive insurance package launched for the plant hire industry
HAE Insurance Services and leading hire firm A-Plant, part of Ashtead Group plc, have combined their expertise in order to launch a brand new insurance package for those hiring plant equipment. A-Plant customers can now take advantage of the service, which insures equipment against loss or damage for up to £100,000 for any one incident.
The new product, called A-Guard, has been devised by The Insurance Partnership Services Ltd in partnership with HAE Insurance Services. The service is offered as part of The Insurance Partnership’s capacity as the appointed Insurance Brokers for the Hire Association Europe, which represents, promotes and enhances the hire and rental industry for the benefit of its members and their customers.

“A-Guard is perfect for hirers who wish to insure against loss of or damage to equipment hired from A-Plant. It can be used to cover a range of hired equipment - from a compressor, dumper or generator, to powered access machines, small tools or accommodation units. This means that customers can avoid the inconvenience and potential logistical problems of sourcing insurance covering loss or damage from a third party.”

A-Guard Insurance is offered through specialists HSB Engineering Insurance Ltd and covers equipment whilst on hire from A-Plant. The policy covers loss or damage to A-Plant equipment anywhere in the UK, including during transit, for up to £100,000 for any one incident with no single item limit.
