Important News about Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander
You may have been previously notified that Close Brothers acquired Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander Premium Finance Limited in August 2008 from KS & F,and on 15 September 2008 changed the company’s name to Close Premium Finance Limited.
Although the stationery being used for the agreements still carries the original company name it does show the Legal Company number as 2155588 which is the important reference.
All premiums financed by this method are not affected by the administration of KS & F and will have either been paid over to the respective insurers, or in the process of being paid over for recently completed agreements.
It is important therefore that continuity of payments is maintained and that policyholders paying by this facility do not cancel the direct debits.
We understand letters will be issued directly by close to agreement holders re-affirming the above shortly.
