The Insurance Partnership holds annual corporate golf tournament
The Insurance Partnership, one of Yorkshire’s leading Commercial Insurance Brokers, recently held its annual corporate golf tournament at the KP Golf Club in Pocklington. The golf tournament took place on the 16th September with 72 people attending the event.
This year, the golf tournament was held in honour of esteemed Insurance Partnership Associate Director, Chris Armstrong, who sadly passed away last year and who in the past was responsible for organising the annual event.
The winning team – made up of Mike Ratcliffe from The Insurance Partnership, John Mason from ECF Ltd, Andrew Pickering from Hull Fish Auction & Fishgate Services Ltd and Paul Chappell from Forrester-Boyd, were presented with the ‘Chris Armstrong Memorial Cup’ by Mark Green, Group Operations Director of The Insurance Partnership.
Mark Green comments on the day:
“Our golf event was a great success and we paid a fitting tribute to Chris Armstrong. We were delighted with the turnout and it was a great opportunity to meet up with clients over some friendly golfing rivalry!
In addition to the Chris Armstrong Memorial Cup, the winners were also presented with a glass trophy and vouchers for the KP golf shop. I would like to extend our thanks to the KP Golf Club, who hosted a fantastic day.”
17 teams played in total and each team of 4 was captained by a member of the Insurance Partnership – with Steven Youngman’s team coming a close second and Steve Neal’s team finishing third.
