The Insurance Partnership ‘revs up’ Lotus charity day for KIDS
The Insurance Partnership employees, Jo Wood and Alan Croft, have organised a ‘Lotus charity day’ for members of disabled children’s charity ‘KIDS’, on Sunday 25th October. Up to 40 children are set to attend the event, which will see them take rides in Lotus sports cars up and down Clive Sullivan Way.
The event is designed to give the children a memorable day and an opportunity to see super cars first hand whilst experiencing the thrills of riding in them. Ten local Lotus owners have agreed to donate their cars for the event, which will be run from the Insurance Partnership car park on Priory Park East.
Janice Hopkins, Regional Fundraiser for KIDS comments:
“We are delighted that the Lotus car owners are willing to sacrifice their free time on a Sunday to give local disabled children and young people a ride in their cars. The families involved with KIDS were keen to attend as soon as we asked them!
“For some children who cannot walk well or run fast, it’s very exciting for them to ride in cars and enjoy the sensation of speed. We would like to thank The Insurance Partnership for facilitating this event and employees from Randstad Staffing Solutions who will be entertaining the children with face painting.”
Alan Croft, Financial Controller for The Insurance Partnership said:
“We are looking forward to the event next Sunday, as are all of the Lotus car owners. As a Lotus owner myself, I attended a similar event for a charity in Harrogate recently and everybody enjoyed the day immensely. It’s great to be able to help give the children an unforgettable, fun day out and I’d like to thank everybody at The Insurance Partnership who helped Jo and I to make the event happen.”
