The Insurance Partnership shortlisted for Excellence Award
The Insurance Partnership is proud to announce that our Corporate Risk division has been short listed for the North of England Excellence Innovation Award.
The Insurance Partnership Corporate Risks (TIPCR) has attracted major corporate accounts by offering a ‘Deliberately Different’ and transparent financial model and professional services proposition.
The innovative charging model delivers major cost savings underpinned by a fresh approach to service excellence.
Chris Brady, Head of Office at TIPCR and Director of The Insurance Partnership which has offices in Hull, York and the West Midlands, said it was a deliberately radical way of delivering corporate insurance that was long overdue in the industry.
Traditionally corporate insurance brokers have made their money by taking either a declared fee or commission, but many still take undisclosed or hidden additional income from a variety of sources.
“We felt that the long established and traditional approach was wrong and that clients deserved better. The client relationship is based on trust and there is no room for conflict of interest.
“Our ethical model sets a new benchmark. By virtue of our different approach we have consistently helped clients reduce the total cost of insurance by between eight and 15 per cent purely by application of the model. We identify the hidden income taken by brokers and then release it back to clients. Further cost reduction is achieved by expert broking and risk management,” explained Mr Brady.
“Everything we do is underpinned by a commitment to service excellence and providing corporate clients with the optimum insurance programme and risk management advice; for each client we create and manage a comprehensive risk profile, help them achieve risk management best practice, anticipate emerging risks and help mitigate and prevent losses,” said Mr Brady.

“The model and our approach is a real differentiator in the insurance industry and it has enabled us to get into some of the biggest corporate clients in the UK,” he said.

The Insurance Partnership are the only Insurance Broker to have been short listed. The awards ceremony will take place at Lancashire Cricket Club on 10 November 2011.
